That right just add it as an attachment and rename it what ever. It's what they see that will get to them.

If you can get to there PC then Hide it some place on the PC and make a shortcut and put it in the startup folder. That way the next time they start the PC it will come up.
Now it will show up in what ever they have setup to view there image files with.
But for a lot of people that will be I.E. for a .gif file. So they will think it was some worm they downloaded.
    :D :D :D

It was great when I did it on my sister's PC.

Plus you can even add more to it by making error boxes pop up.

    Message Manager Lite

    This one is even better.
    Deluxe Version.

You can do a screen shot of the boxes or better yet come the program and save file and put it on the PC. They way you can click on the buttons.
The Deluxe Version will let you have it so it will open other programs and other message boxes.

Have had it a long time and the Deluxe Version is not free but all of it works so there is no time limit on it.

    1. Open Internet Explorer
    2. Goto File>Open
    3. Type javascript:alert(" ANY MESSAGE HERE ")

    Few Examples:

I have an animated gif on my web site that brings up a DOS format session. I am gonna add some jscript alerts to make it more interesting(thanks for the idea...LOL) Ever try shanging the mouse orientation....really messes with peoples minds. If their mouse doesn't support it, open it up and switch the wires for the x & y coordinates....everything up will be down and everything left will be right....or is that wrong??

I think the best prank I've pulled in the workplace was this...

A Coworker who was a hardcore PC fanatic, yet didn't really have a clue as to why he liked PC's so much was who it was played on...

Found a link on the web that runs a really sweet script.

Placed the link in his Windows startup folder.

He booted his PC at the start of the day, logs into the network, then got a pretty blue screen scrolling "Unloading windows", at this point he started to freak out a bit...

Then, he got the MAC Happy Face as his screen proceded to show "Installing MAC OS 8.5"! he really had no clue, called a supervisor over(that was in on the gag) who looked at the screen and said..."Well, looks like you have a virus, we'll have to ghost the machine! I sure hope you saved your reports to the network"

Of course he really started crying because the client was expecting his reports in like 30 minutes and he had worked on them for like a month collecting data on call metrics and such.

he was sooo upset when he realized it was a prank...but he should have known something was going on since the date was April 1st!

I'm the first to admit that that sort of prank is quite funny to read about and even funnier to watch but really, when you think about it, it is an extremely cruel thing to do to someone.

It's not nice being reduced to tears and then being the laughing stock because the "joke" was so effective.
