Hi, This isn't really a technical question, I would just like to know where the best(cheapest and most reliable) places to buy wired network supplies are. I am preparing to set up a wired network in my house and am looking for good places to pruchase all the equipment I need.
Thanks,

I really like Newegg as I have no local stores near me and Newegg is great to work with!

Hope this helps!

For CAT5 wire and connection boxes, I visit Home Depot or Lowes locally.

Doesn't matter - they are all the same as far as reliability. You'll just have to check around for pricing.

Yeah, I was at NewEgg and saw some good deals. I'll probably go with them for the switch and stuff, and I'm going to both Lowes and Home Depot this weekend to check on wires and boxes. Any other help is appreciated.
Thanks!

I go back and forth from NewEgg and TigerDirect for devices, but do like JohnWill for wire and cabling.

For crimping tools and end connectors, I would go to Radioshack if Home Depot / Lowes dont have them. But I agree with all, online will be cheaper than like CompUSA (the price you pay to get it on the spot) and HD or Lowes for cabling.

For my organization I usually order everything from CDW.
CDW is ok. I find them to be a bit overpriced most of the time.
