I recently bought the Elgato Video Capture device to copy some videotapes to my computer. Unfortunately I had issues with it and I will be returning it. The videotapes seem to work just fine if they are viewed through the camcorder itself or if the camcorder is connected to a TV. But when I had the camcorder hooked to the Elgato device the picture on the Elgato software would be really choppy, would turn blue occasionally, and sometimes drop out totally, with a "no signal" message on the screen. I tried using two different sets of (composite) A/V cables and the problem was there with both cables. Can anyone recommend a product that doesn't have these issues? Or is there something that I am doing wrong that I can remedy? Thank you.
