    Hi dan015,
First, does the machine power up?
Second, Try making sure the speaker sound is plugged into the right place on the MB
Third, reseat the memory, sound & video Cards, CPU

If no beep from the small internal system speaker then see if fans run, that says the power switch works.

If fans run then check system speaker wiring and that cpu fan runs and is plugged into the cpu fan socket on motherboard.

If those good then clear cmos battery (instructions for that are in your motherboard manual)....that leaves only the power supply, motherboard, and cpu.

Check all the fans and see if they are running especially the cpu fan. If they are ok then reseat the memory. If that does not work remove all expansion cards except video, disconnect all the drives and see if it will get go through boot up. If it does slowly start hooking one thing at a time back up and try to boot after each reinstall. If it boots go to the next, etc until you reach it does not boot. This could be caused by a bad power supply also so keep that in mind.
