BIOS flashing

    My computer has 128 megs of ram, but it only reads 32 megs of ram, so would flashing my bios help this problem or is it just a leagacy motherboard?. If i can flash my bios where can i go to get one heres my string number-

    Have you just inserted the RAM or have they been there for some time? Also, what is the name of your Motherboard?

    I just inserted the ram and its a packerd bell mother board im sure considering the compouter is a packard bell but i could be wrong

    ok i went there and all i got was a link to a packard bell site which has no bios flashes availble, my string number is in the above message maybe if you guys could help me find a flash that would be great

    Did you purchase the correct RAM for your computer? Did you verify that your motherboard can support that amount of RAM and the size of the RAM chips?
