I have a HP 15-bn070wm Notebook and i forgot my bios password. I tried resetting the cmos battery. It said bios settings cleared, but when i went into the bios settings the password was still there. i also tried a master password from https://bios-pw.org/. That did not work, i tried calling hp and my notebook is out of warranty and i dont have the money for the $49.99 1 year service. Do any of you know any way to remove the password. There are pictures attached to help. IMG_0002.JPG IMG_0003.JPG

It says the BIOS has been cleared but when i reboot the system the password is still there, is there any other way, like a master password.

That might work with a desktop PC but it probably will not work with a laptop.

Also it's against the forum rules to help with bypassing this sort of password.

Removing the cmos battery does not clear the pw on a laptop. Per the forum rules, this thread is closed.
