    Please can somebody help me,

When I try to boot up I get a blue screen that says my bios is not acpi compliant. Well it has been.....what has happened.
I flashed the bios with one from the offical asrock website M/B K7VM4 (I think from memory) but it didn't solve the problem.
What can I do???? Is it a hardware problem, do I need a complete new motherboard. Should I try changing ram, reconfiguring bios settings, WHAT, Please help.

AMD 2600 512 mb ram 80 gb HDD Asrock M/B and one frustrated user!
