Upon restarting your computer, the first thing you should see is a screen which says at the bottom or the top or somewhere:

    <x> Setup

    Where x could be <Del>, <F2>, <something else>

Where setup could also be BIOS or CMOS.

either way, find out which key to push and tap it over an over again upon restart until you get the BIOS. Then scroll through until you find password and put in the password. Make sure you exit and save changes.

It's different for every computer because they use a different version of BIOS.

    Hope it helps.

Do I understand correctly that you want to know how to set it up so that the BIOS prompts users for a password and not how to get around a password that's already in place?
