NCR D-NR6-D-021 V1.0 Pocono Motherboard
how can i reset the bios of this kind of motherboard its very hard to do it i already do the cmos ang battery remove but still it has a password on his bios
BIOS passwords are there for a reason and there would be no point in having one if all it took was to remove the CMOS battery to clear it, going by the info in your OP it sounds like you are locked out by a Supervisor password in the BIOS, if this is your MB it would be expected for you to know the password in all honesty.
You have to shutdown the PC, disconnect the power supply, disconnect all connected USB devices, remove the battery (if a laptop) & then remove the CMOS battery. Long press the on/off button to disperse any residual energy & then leave it for 15-30 minutes. Then reconnect the CMOS battery & power supply then restart. If the password is still there then only the manufacturer of the PC can fix the problem.
You could do that on a laptop until the cows come home; never going to work. On a laptop, the pw is stored in non-volatile memory ie it does not need pw. On a desktop, the bios pw is stored in volatile memory so removing pw would work.
Since this thread is requesting assistance with a pw issue that you really should know provided this board is yours, I am closing this thread.
