I recently upgraded my BIOS. The orginal was a dual BIOS from Award. Pheonix's eSupport (for a fee) provided me with an upgrade, which has worked fine. I have had a couple of strange system hangs, though. These have resulted in in my having to restart the system (as in turning it on and off). When I have restarted, the old BIOS is in place. I can easily fix this by re-flashing the BIOS, but does anyone have idea what is going on?

I have, obviously, checked the system for viruses but my checker (Norton 2003 with all the relevant unpdates) can't find anything.
