Hi, everytime i turn on my computer the bios starts up automatically and asks to set the date and time and save via F10. How can i resolve this? please help. My motherboard is msi x58 gaming motherboard for intel i7 920 processor and the os is win 7.
Thanks in advance. I am novice to computers and am not exactly sure if this is because of virus or something else!!

It sounds as if the CMOS battery is dead. Do you know what to look for, the battery is a small silver disc that you will find on the motherboard.
