Had a power crash, since then can't boot to HD. Can boot to floppy or cd drive. Installed a controller card, didn't fix, put in new HD = no effect, new cable = no effect. Any other ideas?
    Thanks in advance

You put in a new HD? And you were able to install an OS on it? But it doesn't work!?
I would try resetting the BIOs and returning it back to the default settings. If you don't know how to set the jumper on the MB then just pull the cmos battery out for 15/20 minutes - put in back in and boot up - see what happens.

It's a silver disk about the size of a nickel located on the MB. You can't miss it - it looks just like every other button battery you've ever seen.

Next to the battery should be a jumper with three pins, pull the jumper off locate it on the next two pins for about 5 seconds and then put it back on the original pins.

That will reset your bios. some batteries are a ***** to get in and out.

Hope you don´t need to flash your bios, but sometimes it´s needed.
