Anyone know a location from which I could d/l a free bios upgrade please?

Larry, started installing that Maxtor 8.7 in the P100... all went smooth, Windows 98 being installed as I type. Thanks again for your help.

Glad the new drive is working....

As for BIOS though, we will need info on the main board. The makers of the boards make the BIOS specifically for that board.

In any case, I tend to doubt it will be flash upgradeable due to its age. You never know of course.

Ok, the putter is working real well! The Bios idea was planted from a friend and I started looking into it. Due to the fact that we are dealing with a p100 I lean towards leaving Bios alone. That cost plus more ram, plus, plus plus is not worth it. The maxtor is great and it give them the boost they needed along with win98.
