I hope that this is the right Forum for this inquiry. I have had Bit Defender Antivirus Plus 2016 for 164 days. I'm using Windows 10.
I started getting a pop up from Bit Defender this morning wanting me to create an account. As I said I already have an account with these people and I pay for it each month. I clicked the on the X to delete the pop up but it keeps coming back. I contacted the customer support for Bit Defender and got some guy with an accent who told me that this is how bit defender keeps track of my account and lets me know when it is time to renew the service. I told him that I already have access to all of that information on the Bit Defender display. I asked him how to stop the pop ups and he said that I would be charged for that.
I refuse to believe that I have to pay extra to stop a pop up from an anti virus program. If anyone has experience with Bit Defender or knows anything about this problem please respond and give me advice on how to stop this popup. It has popped up three times while I was writing this.
Thank you.

Since you have an account already, did you sign into it? Sometimes after an update or a change in the system or software you have sign back in.

You're right, Triple6. Once I signed back in the pop up stopped. Thanks for your response.
