I performed a clean install of Windows 10 Home. The drive does show up as an icon until I restart. If I shut down and start up again, the drive does show. However, when I restart, the icon is gone and media will not be recognized. If I boot from the Windows 10 dvd, the icon shows up again. Then if I reboot, it is gone. If I instead shut down and restart, the drive will show up. Again, only if I restart will the computer not recognize the drive. I hope I made myself clear, thanks for any help.
