I am using Windows 98 SE on a computer with an Athlon 1800+ processor. Sometimes, not always, after turning on my machine and waiting for it to boot if I go online thru AOL 8.0 I get the following message on a blue screen:

Windows

A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C0093202 in VXD
VSDATA 95(01) + 0000B49A. The current application will be terminated.
*Press any key to terminate the current application
*Press CTRL+ALT+DEL again to restart your computer.
You will lose any unsaved information in all applications.
Press any key to continue

Two things need to be stated here:
1) Computer has completely frozen up at this point
2) I never pressed CTRL+ALT+DEL the first time, so how can I press them again.

I have taken my machine in to the shop numerous times for this and their last solution was to remove Windows ME from the system and install Windows 98 SE. That obviously didn't work since I am still having the same problem.

I need whatever help anyone can offer.
