for the past week, my computer has been having startup problems. 9 out of 10 times my computer will go fine through the post and will go to the windows loading page. there it will start to load but then a blue screen with alot of text on it will flash. it flashes to fast for me to read. it then restarts my computer then brings me to a page where i can boot into safe mode, normal or last config. if i chose last config or normal it works fine. but what is making my computer do this?

id also like to note im using Windows XP Home

    Hiya and welcome

Is this problem still happening? If so, when you get to normal mode, go to Control Panel | System. Device Manager.

Are there any yellow !'s showing?

Also, have you installed any new hardware/software prior to this problem?
