So I got a new motherboard/processor and I got it all hooked up, and when i try loading windows I get a blue screen OCCASIONALLY before windows loads. It will show the loading screen on start up then do a half second blue screen then restart. If I take a break for an hour or two I can get into my computer.

When I started it up it detected hardware..A lot of it... And it kept asking me to search for it yada yada, and It wouldn't really search at all, then it asked me to restart and I started having the problems.

Help anybody? I'm running windows XP SP3.

You need to do a repair install. Or, if you can get into safe mode go into device manager and uninstall the old hardware. When the find hardware wizard pops up and it can't find the drivers, you need to use the drivers disc that came with your motherboard.

Now I can't get into my computer. Windows starts loading then does a split second blue screen and then it crashes.

Repair install is your only choice.
