Blue screen of death, Freezing, and black screen

    So for the past 2 weeks I've been crashing none stop usually after playing game for about an hour or just browsing or watching a movie, its a mixture of Page fault in none page area, Memory management, IRQL not less or equal, among others. I don't know whats causing the crashes or any help would be greatly appreciated. i had this laptop for since early december 2009.

    OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64 bit
    Processor: AMD Turion(tm) II Dual-Core Mobile M500, AMD64 Family 16 Model 6 Stepping 2
    Processor Count: 2
    RAM: 3836 Mb
    Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series, 320 Mb
    Hard Drives: C: Total - 291444 MB, Free - 24376 MB; D: Total - 13495 MB, Free - 2249 MB; F: Total - 99 MB, Free - 95 MB;
    Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard, 3642
    Antivirus: Norton Internet Security, Disabled

    Have you installed anything lately? There could be some program or service doing something that isn't needed.
    How's the case temperature? Perhaps it's running too hot.

    How do i check the temperature? i have not installed anything new in months until after the problems started, but even then its just skype/dropbox/avg in the last week or so, and skype was a reinstall.
