I Got The dreaded blue screen giving me this Error message ***stop:0x0000007b (0xfc938640, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) Then I Used The 6disk Recovery And Tried Chkdsk /r And It Said The Autochk.exe File Is Missing. Is There Any Hope For This Hard Drive

Absolutely.

Most blue-screen errors come from faulty or misconfigured device drivers, not from bad hard drives. What did you change before getting the BSOD?

I changed the floppy drive but it was happening be4 that. then it wouldnt power up at all. so i fixed that by changing the fuse in the power supply. i was gettin the blue screen for a mili second so i put my hard drive in another computer and it gave me that error message.

How did you set up your hard drive on the other computer ?

You can't just swap a hard drive from one computer to the other, unless you format and install the operating system again. It is possible to do, with a repair install etc, but reading your post it seems as though you are trying to boot a computer with another computers hard drive ?

Please correct me if I am wrong.
