A long time ago I posted here with a problem that I had with an nVidia card. It would skip horribly, mess up the animation, and turn things red. Many people came to me with solutions, none of them helped at all. So I went to return the card, when I did. They mentioned that nVidia cards sometimes have a problem with certain motherboards. They said "Try an ATI, see how it works for you". So now I am using an ATI Radeon 9200 128 MB DDR. I went to "the darkside" as nVidia users would call it. But I am very happy with my new card, works prefectly. Except for two things...
Games skip, on a predefined basis, like every 3 seconds. Also, it garbles the colors on Unreal Tournament: GOTY Edition. Otherwise, it works fine. So basically, I just want any suggestions on boosting the performance of the card. Note- I already tried reducting hardware acceleration. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
