Boot disc to

    download drivers to a new hard drive..I installed a brand new hard drive on on older computer with pentium II processor..I am trying to load XP pro to it, but..it says i need a boot disc for the floppy disc ..that it is not recognizing my cd drive..i went to MSN and it has an exe boot downloadable..but..it will not fit on floppy disc..says file is too big..Im not sure how to get it done now..any suggestions? thanks guys..

    Go into BIOS and choose the CDROM drive as the first boot device. A PII system is on the old side. What are you computer specifications? Lets make sure you really want to put XP on it.

    Also does the computer correctly recognize the size of the new drive. This would be in the BIOS.
