I recently formated 2 of my drives that had OS on them. Now when I boot up it still shows the list of OS that I have installed, even though I only have one. I ran a fixmbr and fixboot, those didnt work, what shoudl I do?

if it shows recent os's you didn't format the drive, are you sure you formatted the drive, usually when two os's are present you left the files in tact then installed the new os.

Start => Run and type in msconfig
In the Boot.ini tab click on the Check All Boot Paths button

Those are still listed in the boot.ini.

Yes I did format the drives. I did it twice and I am going to try a 3rd time with Partition Magic this time.

The first time I did it through my computers, then I used the XP disc and deleted the partitions.

I will see if partition magic works, but more help would be appreciated.
