    Hey

Well for some weird reason i am getting a strange boot of XP.

From a cold boot i turn on computer gets up to XP splash screen then the blue bit goes around for a bit then freezes and the computer dies. I mean totaly dies i cant even turn it on with the power button or reset button so i have to un plug then re plug in the computer then this allows me power up again this time it allows me to get past the login screen and onto my desktop then it dies again on the 3rd BOOT all is fine. This is very weird because after 3 reboots the computer is fine.

    Thanks in advance.
    Ben

You might try a system restore to an earlier date, or do an XP repair with the XP cd disk.

By power cable do you mean external or the internal power cables going to the componenets.

But either way the computer isnt get the power because after the 3rd boot its fine as im on it now.
