Boot-up Problem

    Hi Im using a Dell Dimension 3100 & running XP, recently ive been having problems booting up the pc, it tries to start but after a few seconds cuts out, after several attempts im getting an error message ,,, checkpoint [Ithr] the pc is about 18mths old, any suggestions please :confused:

    If you Google this there are quite a few hits. Did you read through them? Seem to be a definite Dell problem.

    From reading the error message in google, try going into bios and changing the USB controller to no boot. If the error message persists you'll need to get the board replaced.
