boot up - what do the function keys do?

    anyone got a link or a list of what all the fuction keys do when you boot up. Thanks

    I'm interested in this, too. But, I don't know how much luck we will have as some of the keys are hardware specific (entering setup, breaking out to a SCSI controller, etc)

    F8 will get you to the Windows troubleshooting menu. Other than that, any others would be specific to your hardware as Slithy mentioned above.

    F5 for windows 95 troubleshooting menu
    F8 for windows 98 troubleshooting menu
    Ctr for any windows troubleshooting menu(i think)

    Then you've got all those pesky bios buttons
    Esc, F2, Delete.......... too many too list, (and i only know a few)

    Someone should make a uniform code
    they could call it the

    TSG standards

    trouble shooting Guide standards(but we all know what it really means)

    standards for entering the bios and those beep sounds i always get when starting a computer:D
