How do I get rid of the "Bridge.dll" message I get when I reboot? I've followed the instructions I've found on line, but I still get it.

Hello, pmtbuck. Welcome to the forums!

    Please download 'Hijack This!'.

    http://spywarewarrior.com/files/HijackThis.exe

Save it in a convenient permanent folder such as C:\HJT\, double click HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Save the log, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or essential, don't fix anything yet.

You may want to print out these instructions or save them to your desktop because we will be restarting into Safe Mode later on in the fix and you might not be able to access the Internet.

Please close all browsers and windows and have HijackThis fix these entries:

    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch =
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Msctg] C:\WINDOWS\System32\MSCTG.EXE

Reconfigure Windows XP to show hidden files:
    Click Start. Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options. Select the View Tab.

Under the Hidden files and folders heading select "Show hidden files and folders".
Uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" option.
Uncheck the "Hide file extensions for known file types" option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.

    Boot into Safe Mode:
Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.
To get back to normal mode just restart the computer as you normally would.

Please remove these entries from Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel(if present):

    TV Media

Please delete these folders using Windows Explorer(if present):

    C:\Program Files\TV Media

Please delete these files using Windows Explorer(if present):

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\MSCTG.EXE

Now you can restart the computer normally.
Please run HijackThis again and post a fresh log, just so I can make sure that all the malware was deleted according to plan. :)

Here is the log from the scan after I followed your instructions. I notice that some of what you said to fix, are still there. Don't know if that's a problem, but it did get rid of the "Bridge.dll" not found when I boot up. Nice job. Thanks,

Are you sure you did everything I told you to? Because everything is still there...

You may want to print out these instructions or save them to your desktop because we will be restarting into Safe Mode later on in the fix and you might not be able to access the Internet.

Please close all browsers and windows and have HijackThis fix these entries:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Msctg] C:\WINDOWS\System32\MSCTG.EXE
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TV Media] C:\Program Files\TV Media\TVM.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll",Load
