I had a Celeron 900Mhz with 384 megs of Ram. It worked fine for a while, but one day the machine wouldn´t start anymore. I suspected that one of the RAM modules was broken so I removed 256 megs. after that the machine worked fine for a while. then SiSoft Sandra started complaining that my processor was too fast or something like that and my machine started rebooting by itself. I reduced the CPU power to 600Mhz, and after that it worked a while again. Now my PC has started the rebooting crap again. Then, about a week ago I noticed, that one of the three memory slots in my motherboard doesn´t work. If I put RAM there the PC wont start. Also, I tested the 256 megs of RAM I removed earlier and now the RAM works fine! wtf?
If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it. Sorry about the long story.
