Browser for XP - MyPal

    Auto updating is not a problem for me. I turn off auto updating. I prefer when I want to update something.

    Also
    Since MyPal is at the same version as Palemoon, I'll know about when an update is due to come out.

    I created a folder on my XP desktop, put the exe in there and when it wanted to install, rather than in All Programs, I pointed it to the folder. So essentially, I'm running it as if it were portable. If I tire of it, I can erase that folder and no trace of it will be on the computer.
    The default Search engine is DuckDuckGo. I didn't try to install any other search engines. The only addon/extension I installed was Palemoon's uBlockOrigin updater and gorhill's version of uBlockOrigin for legacy Firefox. Nothing newer will install.
