I recently ran into a very annoying problem, this is what happens when I try and enter some pages it doesnt display the propper page, instead it shows me this page like this

    http://www.internet-optimizer.com/Help/NavigationError/?e=ERRDNS&u=http://theforums.ws/

this is very annoying as I cant enter lots of web pages.
Please can someone help me solve this problem of mine.

I also have another problem when I sometimes click on the little button to drop down the list of recent internet pages I have visited it freezes the web page and when I go alt + cntrl + delete
and try end that task the end process screen comes up then dissapears extremely fast (not enough time to move the mouse over and click ok to end the Not Responding Task).
Any help will be appreciated as I don't have a clue how to fix these problems
    Cheers

go to http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip , and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, and please copy & paste its contents to the forum.

It will possibly show issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

When you remove my web search, you also lose smiley central. so it's your choice, lots of smileys or a search bar that might intrude

most anti spyware define my websearch as optional because of the smiley links

It's also your option to remove this one O16 - DPF: {1D4DB7D2-6EC9-47A3-BD87-1E41684E07BB} (Fun Web Products Installer Start) - http://imgfarm.com/images/nocache/f...etup1.0.0.5.cab

which is the smiley central activation

I do not like my websearch because it is foisted on you when you download smileycentral, but it is clearly stated on their download page that this happens and that smiley central May not (will not) work without my websearch
