    I'm not sure if this is something simple or something sinister .... Since yesterday I can't open more than one browser window at a time. If I open a new window either by clicking on a link in the current window - or just opening a fresh one, I lose the original window. I don't lose it if I go to OE or messenger or anything - just other internet windows. I've scanned for viruses and spyware - but still suspect it might be something nasty.

    Any ideas appreciated! Thanks

    Start => Control Panel =>

    Classic View => Internet Options => Advanced tab => Restore Defaults Button => Click OK

    Category View => Network and Internet Connections => Internet Options => Advanced tab => Restore Defaults Button => Click OK

    Then try clicking some links again.

    Thanks for that - but no joy I'm afraid!

    It occurred to me that a Sytem Restore might solve the problem - and it seems to have...for now at least. Thanks.
