Mozilla, Netscape, Opera, MyIE2(Maxthon), to name a few. Even IE can be good as long as you have it configured ok, patched, and you have some antispyware protection.

How good is MyIE2(Maxthon)? Is it better against spyware than IE?

I use Firefox, it works so I haven't use any other browsers. For the few sites that don't work with FF then I use IE.

Maybe you got a bad install.
    Uninstall Firefox
I have used it since version .08 and other than updates, never use IE anymore.

I used to use Firefox, but have switched to Netscape Browser. I like the features better. I especially like the organization of my personal bookmarks toolbar, and the auto form fill.

Internet Explorer can be secure if you disable all the bad stuff like ActiveX. After that, you are only affected by any actual software exploits -- the same as any other browser.

Netscape is now just a modified Firefox, so you get the same level of security/features you'd find with Firefox but with more crap that Netscape decided to stick in.

If you're looking for a browser then Firefox is a good choice IMO. If you don't like FF, then Opera would probably be the next in line. Firefox, Opera, IE and Safari (only avail. on a Mac) are the big browsers these days. There are derivatives (ie. Flock is just a modded Firefox, Avant is IE with some more features... etc) but they are the major ones.

I vote for "SeaMonkey," the current version of the long standing "Mozilla Suite." Of course, you have to have use for the contents of the "suite," which I do. The latest ver. of SM is 1.0.3, and has the latest security features.

I was thinking of going to Firefox from IE6, bit have downloaded IE 7 beta 3 and I love it, always a little worried about beta software, but this is working fine, with tight security settings and realtime spyware defence I hope it will be fine.

I know it`s probably my ineptitude in setting up my browsers properly, but I find that certain sites don`t like certain browsers (for whatever reason), so I tend to use 3; those being : Firefox (primarily), then Opera, and lastly IE (which I hardly use at all any more)
