The system is a overclocked yep, it was custom built about 3 years ago and set to a limit that works for the applications built into the PC itself power wise and GFX card wise. I've not tampered with the settings as I've had the PC now about 3 years or so and it never had problems or BSOD issues.

I did indeed start Malwarebytes again and enabled rootkits, this scan took much longer timewise, the rootkits section completed with no issues but the rest of the scan eventually caused a BSOD when it got to about 2hrs 40mins....So it never actually finished.

I haven't tried the sticks test yet, I'm not actually sure how I would go about doing check personally....

I will indeed try the overheating test and harddrive test once I'm in later. Thanks for the continued help.

RAM wise, gosh i think its 16GB (2x 8GB) at 2400MHz

One other thing is (ive been away this whole weekend until late last night), i noticed that on more than the odd occasion ill be browsing sites ive used for years now and blogs etc and the broswer (Firefox) sometimes begins to choke and freeze up, sometimes it will come around from the freezing and then play nicely for a few seconds or so and then BSOD.....

I cant confirm if this has been the case everytime but im certain there have been many instances where using the internet via firefox has resulted in a BSOD.

Again been using it for years with no issues and its my only and preferred browser.

I also wonder if my wireless internet driver needs uninstalling and reinstalling again? I have full internet access so theres no issues there but i just wonder you know...?

Unlikely that Firefox is the cause, it may register in the minidumps as - Image_Name: Firefox.exe but that is what is running at the time.
======
Have you ever run DRIVER VERIFIER?
======
Run memtest on individual ram sticls if you can.
======
Run a hard drive test.
======
Check for overheating.
When you can report back on the test results above.

Driver verifier i ran in one of the ealier suggestions.

Overheating isnt an issue.

I did not suggest using Driver Verifier - in fact, in post #30 - I warned against using it.
When did you use it and did it stall-stop and show which driver may be causing the problem?

I suggest that you Reset Driver Verifier
Click on Start - Search - Type cmd
Right click on cmd select Run as Administrator.
At the Command Prompt - Type or copy and paste.
verifier
Press Enter.

Under - Driver Verifier Manager > Select a Task > Put a Tick in
Delete existing Settings > Next > Click on Finish > Restart your pc.
======
Run a hard drive test - see post #30

Also just to add i downloaded 'driver fix' and its identified 16 drivers out of date (i havent upadted any yet).

It lists....

IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers
Monitors
Network Adapters
Software Components (x3 listings)
Sound, Video and Game Controllers (x1 Nvidia Audio Device and x1 Realtek Hi Def)
System Devices (x8 various entries)

When i look at Intel Driver Support for a comparsion it shows everything up to date...

SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION
cause: CNG.SYS
CNG.sys is a Windows file.
https://www.systemlookup.com/Drivers/4161-cng_sys.html

It is best not to rely on driver update software but go to the manufacturers website.
Check Device Manager again and expand all entries, click on the x. If any driver need updating do it from there.

You have yet to run a hard drive test - see post #30
Also if you can, run memtest on individual ram sticks.
======
I will check the minidump files and post back what they find first thing in the morning, 22.15 here in the UK.

Thanks,

I checked the sticks last weekend individually. Both came back clear and no issues at all.

I think i tried to start writing the ISO file from SeaTools but it was too big for the USB drive i had.

Only two dump files are different from the ones we have seen before.
IMAGE_NAME: USBXHCI.SYS
https://www.systemlookup.com/Drivers/8366-USBXHCI_SYS.html
In device manager - under Universal Serial Bus Controllers > any ? marks or errors showing?
If yes, you can uninstall [USB Root Hub] as on a restart of the pc Windows will reinstall the USB drivers.
======
IMAGE_NAME: cng.sys
It is a Windows system file. You have already run system file checker [sfc /scannow] did you run chkdsk /r from Command Prompt? If no, run chkdsk /r
======
IMAGE_NAME: bddci.sys
- is back again.
Description: Related to BDDCI filter driver from Bitdefender
https://www.systemlookup.com/Drivers/5066-BdDci_sys.html

I think you said that you have never used Bitdefender Anti-virus program.
In the Search box type bddci.sys.
If it is present on the system, delete it. If it will not delete, rename it bddci.sys.old
=======
Do the following and let us know what you find.
Run a full scan with Malwarebytes again , with Rootkits enabled, did it complete the scan this time. Post the logfile here.
Check system for bddci.sys
Check USB drivers in device manager.
What USB devices do you have connected to the pc?
Run a hard drive test. Post #30
If you haven't already done so, run chkdsk /r
