I have windows 8 installed on my home computer. The computer keeps shutting down on it's own and saying "Driver Power State Failure". Can someone look at my BSOD Minidump files and give me an idea of what could be causing this problem. I have tried to save the minidump files into a zip file, but it brings up an error not allowing me to do this. Hopefully the text file from Blue Screen view is enough to figure this out. Thanks.

    cpu
    m/board
    ram
    power supply
    brand

    wattage

check the listings in the bios for 12v line voltages and cpu temperatures and post them

Thanks for the response: Here is the info you requested. Let me know if you need additional info. Could there be a problem with a driver not being compatible with windows 8? Why doesn't one of my internal hard drives show up sometimes when I reboot into windows.

    EX58-UD3R Gigabyte MOBO

    Nvidia GTX 260 GPU

    RAM 6GB of OCZ3G1600LV2G

    INtel I7-920 CPU

    OCZ 700W PSU

heck for m/board chipset driver updates

OCZ 700W PSU,not a recommended brand quality units come with 5-7yr warranty and when the maker does not list the full specs,it arouses suspicion as to the quality

although it it is listed as one of their units it is actually a fsp oem unit
