    Hi all,

I've got a Dell Dimension 4550 running windows XP w/ SP2 and ALL the latest patches here in my shop, and I've got the weirdest problem. I wanna sweep it clean of viruses and spyware, but can't boot to safe mode.

It boots completely fine in normal mode, no errors or anything.

    The BSOD I get is:

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    0x000000D1 (0x00000000, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

    Thoughts?

Hard to say, your error is weird, a dump might provide more clues but I would say that it's likely something has happened to one of the safe-mode drivers, probably a video driver.

Can you zip and post a small dump?
