    Hi everybody,

I've just purchased an EVGA 7800GS video card. I have 3 games installed on my PC : WOW, HL2 and DOOM3 and i am running Win XP PRO SP2.

My PC is working fine except when i play games : DOOM3 is freezing after 5 minutes, WOW and HL2 are issuing BSOD's.

Most of the time i get a 0x8E BSOD which is involving nv4disp.dll and sometimes i get a 0x7F_D one ...

All my drivers and BIOS are up to date : i run 91.47 NVIDIA drivers.

Does anyone have an idea on how to troubleshoot this problem ?

    THANKS for answering :D

NOTE : attached to this post you will find the last couple of my minidump files ...

The BSOD you are getting is from the eNvidia video card I would suggest going to Nvidia's web site and getting the drivers downloaded from there and install them, if you are still getting the BSOD after that I would suggest calling their tech support and they would more than likely have a solution for your problem.

Also you might want to ask to have this thread moved to the Games forum here at TSG just click the little triangle in the upper right corner and ask for it to be moved.
