I been getting BSOD's in windows 7 recently and I'm not sure why. I haven't changed my hardware beside my monitor.

Some of the blue screens are:

An attempt to write to read only memory

I ran Win7 from another hard drive and also got the BSOD, so I think it's hardware related.
How do I know if I have bad RAM, or Video Card? What else could it be?
I also ran the windows memory test, virus scanner, etc, and that all passed with no problems.

There's a few ways of checking what's causing the problem but it might be easiest to just upload the Minidump files here.

Your MiniDump files are stored within the Windows directory in a folder called Minidump. They have a .dmp extension.

To upload them to this forum, zip up the most recent ones into a zip folder and save on your desktop.

Below the reply box click on Go Advanced. Then scroll down until you see a button Manage Attachments. Click on that and a popup-window opens.

Click on the Browse button, find the zip folder you made earlier and double click on it.

Now click on the Upload button in the popup. When done, click on the Close this window button.

Enter your text, then click on Submit Message. Hopefully that should help us resolve the issue.
