    Hi All.
I installed a HP PSC(Printer/Scanner/Copier).. my first.. It's HP 2170 series.. Installed yesterday, and no problems.. I wasn't quite sure.. whether to leave this PSC on or not.. so I left it on during the nite.

This morning, my computer boots up.. but after the Dell Screen, I get the BSOD. and nothing more.

I then reboot.. nothing.. BSOD.. again.

    Then restart.. and BSOD. again.

I thought.. maybe?? it's the PSC because it's on.. so I turned it off. and restarted my computer.. and all seems to be okay..

What could've happened?? and should I leave it off.. until I'm on the computer. and then turn on the "on button".. Thanks for your help.

With my old printer..(just a plain HP Desk Jet). It stayed on all the time.

    Thanks.
    Helene

    cannot help with the log
it sounds like the drivers did not install correctly
press f8 when booting up and try last known goog configuration
if that does not work choose safe mode
uninstall the printer and reinstall check for updated drivers
if you still get the bsod.
turn off the auto reboot and post the bsod error message

Hi Dai.. Everything seems to be working. since I turned off the HP PSC.. Then I came home just now.. and it booted up just fine.

When I did get a blue screen. there was NO error message.. just the entire screen was blue. Not the "normal.. BSOD"..
But as long as things are working.. I guess it's okay. We'll see in the next few days.

    Thanks.. so much.

Anybody?? is my hijack log okay.. Just making sure.
    Thanks,
    helene
