Is this a personal computer or a work computer?

    ---------------------------------------------------------

    Go into the Device Manager.

What's listed in Mice And Other Pointing Devices?

Are there any entries in the Device Manager with a ? or ! or X next to them?

Go here to the Advent 5611 specs site, then scroll down to the "Function Keys" section.

The Fn+F9 key combination supposedly enables/disables the touchpad.
