I have this very bad problem here. Each time i burn a cd, the pc crashes at the end of the burning process. The cd burns ok, but i have to restart the pc. This started happening when i added a second hdd to my pc, so now there's a cd-r, cd-rw, and two hdds. The power suply is 235w, so maybe it's a lack of power ? And sometimes after i restart, Windows doesn't boot, saying to replace the disk. But after some tries, it does boot. I have 192ram, and my friend says it could be something with ram. Any ideas ?

Since you say it started when you added a second hard drive, try unplugging it to see if the problem goes away. If it does, it does sound like a power issue.

Have you tried turning off your antivirus program and any other unnecessary running programs before starting the burning process?
