A friend gave me a cd with a .mov file on it and asked me if I could make a cd for him with this file on it that when inserted will open the .mov file. He also wanted me to use Quick Time as the player. I made a stab at it. And when I double click the .mov file, it brings up the quicktime player (which I also have on the CD) but I have to click the play button to get it to play. Works fine then.
I have Easy CD Creator Platinum (5) and also HP My CD & HP Record Now. I used the HP My CD. Also the latest version of Quicktime (6.0) and Windows XP. So my question is, how do I tie in the .mov and quicktime, to make the CD autoplay the movie when inserted? Is this something that is done at the time it is created, am I doing something wrong there?
Thanks for any help.
