My wife copied some sewing files to DVD for a friend. They have extensions like .huv and are used in embroidery. After copying, we switched DVD to the Non Writeable DVD player slot.
Bottom line windows explorer does not recognize it and says ?insert disk?. However, put in a recorded video and it finds it and offers a program to play. Also reads previous backup DVD's and CD's. So the slot is working, but the only way to use it is back in the DVD Burner with Roxio. What have we done, or what should we try? We suspect unless the receiver (the next person to use the files) has Roxio programs, they cannot even bring it up. I have done what it says to "Make disc readable in any computer or DVD Player." Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.
