    Hello All,
question: I uninstalled my burner software (not the device itself). I use as my burner as my all-purpose cd-rom, and now want to reinstall, but can't find or detect the burner at all. not sure what to do. the reason I uninstalled is that I needed to download updated driver so my burner would work better with windows xp. I'm a computer amateur, and got confused with the process, so just chose to uninstall and then reinstall the software, so that I could start from scratch. any advice as to how I can detect and then use my burner to reinstall??? any comments regarding the workings of drivers, what exactly they are and how they work would also be appreciated.
    Thanks a lot,
