I have a DVD on my computer in 2 files. Both are .avi
The total size is about 1 gig and i want to put it on a CD for later viewing. Is there a program that can change the file type, if the file type would change the size...

The CD can hold 700MB

Why not put it on two VCD's? Without losing quality, you won't be able to shrink it all that much...

or if your using nero you can do that as well and you can also use a (payed for) video splitter to do so to make the vcd's if the video's aren't already in parts... i've had to do video splitting because i had to make some vcd's of my cousin's video's for him.. but either way a vcd is the way to go it's great audio and video quality in the long run
