I have Nero 7 installed on my computer and when I am trying to burn a dvd it gets about halfway done and then an error comes up on the screen. Any thoughts?
Ok, So I need to get a better idea of your situation to better guide you. Please answer the following.
1. Has this ever worked in the past, if so when did it stop working.
2. What OS are you using?
3. What type of DED Player are you using, did it come with the computer?
4. What type of information are you burning?
5. If it is a video, is Nero editing/re-encoding it for you? Like have you added a home video and trying to burn to a DVD to watch on your TV's DVD player?
6. Are you burning a commercial DVD, like a hollywood movie?
ok so I got it to burn but on some it says "file re-allocation error, dvd may not be playable" I burned one of them that said that and part of it has no sound. How would I fix that

1. no it has never worked, this is my first time using it
2. Windows XP pro sp2
3. Pioneer DVD 16X. Didn't come with the comp I put it in myself
4. Video_TS Files
5. No.
6. No.
Is the Pioneer a DVD R? Most of the DVD writers will list on the front of them, DVD -R/+R RW, or something like that. The way you stated 3 it looks like you have a DVD player and not a burner.
Check The Nero Web Site. There Are Known Issues With Nero Software. Updates Are Available.
