Background: I attempted to burn some mp3's to a CD-R using Nero. I selected the convert to CDA option. Nero appeared to burn the files. When I go to play them, nothing happens.:(

I've looked at the file structure of the CD-R, and it appears that the files are in fact there, and do have a .cda extention...but the WMP won't play them.

Can anyone help? What did I do wrong?

Have you tried to play the CD in a regular CD player (like a home stereo)? CD/DVD creators are not immune to creating "coasters", so this may be the case. Or, WMP is just having problems. I suggest you try playing it on another CD player first to assure that the CD was created correctly first.

Did you click the finalize after burning option in nero right after you hit the little fiery burn icon? I think you're not finalizing the disk.

When it was finished, the CD popped out without me doing anything...

Me thinks something maybe just went wrong.
