Recently my PC was giving off a burning smell for maybe a week. Then the Power supply died. Replaced the power supply and all is working. But that soot smell is still in my Rig, primarily in my video card. Is this a bad sign? Or is it just a smell that will filter out over time? Just want to be sure.

If it's working well then the Graphics card is probably ok and the smell will fade away BUT there's no way to tell for sure from here.
