Ever wonder what a website looks like when it gets shutdown by the FBI? Well, here's what it looks like: http://ibackups.net/

I thought this might be something interesting to post. ;)

One wonders if the cost of keeping the website alive with the FBI notice is being financed by US taxpayers money? It seems like it would be more cost effective to have the DNS names redirect to an FBI website where we are already paying for the cost of the government's website.

What's more ridiculous is the punishment. 87 months in jail and $5.4 million in restitution for copyright infringement? I can understand that if it were given out to a large company that could actually -afford it-, but against one person? Completely ridiculous!

well one must pay the punishment of crime that they have done. can't say weather it's ridiculous or not. it's just the fact that scares you not to do it anymore.

He sure did reap the wealth though WarC! ;)
And how can you feel sorry for a guy who bought all this thanks to his wrongdoing! ;)

See...the FBI has to spend so much time cracking down on these losers that they don't have time to find terrorists! ;)

Look at this. At first I thought it was real, though the flash animation at the top seemed odd. Then I went to the bottom and it had my real IP address, I thought for a second it was a static image. I then read some of the text and found it was fake. :p

    Speaking of being scared...

If you are sitting next to someone who's irritating you on a plane, train, bus....

    1. Quietly and calmly open up your laptop case.

    2. Remove your laptop.

    3. Boot it up.

    4. Make sure the person bothering you can see the screen.

    5. Open your email client to this message.

    6. Close your eyes and tilt your head up to the sky.
