Bypass User Login On Win 2000

    I just got a computor that was used before. It has user passwords on it that I cannot get pass because all have forgotten thier passwords. How can I get pass these logins and reset the password so I can get in. I have no software for this computor.

    Please help

    So you dont have a legal license to use the operating system, nor do you have the OS to reinstall. Well I dont like doing this because it teeters on the unethical and illegal side of things.

    But I know someone else is going to come around and give you the answer anyways.

    I just took a look at the Offline NT Password utility and would be absolutely terrified to use it.

    NT technology is meant to be secure. If you got a computer from someone else, and they did not transfer the OS media, then you are using an illegal copy, through no real fault of your own. The utility mentioned above is a crack meant o tbreak the security og NT, 2000, and XP and admits that your data could become corrupt and the OS unuseable.

    Your best bet would be to format and claer the hard drive fo all data and load a legal version of an Operating system on it.
