Hello everyone,
In the Local Area Connection Status box, under "Activity", is there any way that I can change it (a registry tweak, maybe?) to rather show *Bytes* sent and received, as apposed to it showing *Packets* sent and received.
It's a DSL connection, and I have an ethernet 4-port router.
Or is this something that's only available when doing a Dial-up connection (I suspect....)?
Thanking you all in advance for any advice,
JMK1956.

None that I'm aware of. You might consider running an Ethernet monitoring application like Ethereal if it's important to you.

Bytes or Packets is decided upon by the individual cars manufactuerers there is no way to change it short of buying a card of the type you know the manufacturer goes by. As johnwill mentioned though there are ways to get more information on your network connection than the windows GUI.
